On May 23, 2024, the meeting was opened by Academician Gheorghe Duca, the coordinator of the WFS in the Republic of Moldova. Academician Gh. Duca addressed a message of greeting to the scholarship fellows, wishing them success in presenting their reports and expressing the hope that the results will correspond to the expectations and rigors imposed by the WFS.
The 10 fellows presented their results, highlighting the purpose and achievement of the objectives of their projects. The speakers emphasized their importance and impact on research and solving social problems in the Republic of Moldova. It was mentioned that the research results carried out within the scholarship program granted by the FMS were published in scientific articles with an impact factor and in national publications, being also presented at various national and international conferences and symposia.

- Bunduc Tatiana (Institute of Ecology and Geography of MSU, PhD. researcher): Effects of land use changes on soil degradation. Case study: Tigheci catchment.
- Bahșiev Aighiuni (Institute of Genetics, Physiology and Plant Protection of MSU, researcher): Monitoring the spread of Candidatus Phytoplasma solani' on tomato, apples and some host plants
- Jomir Florentina (Moldova State University, PhD student, researcher): Development of the environmental economic accounting and reporting framework for land resources in the context of the limit development theory. Case study: agribusiness in the Republic of Moldova
- Neguța Elena (Institute of Chemistry of MSU, PhD student, researcher): Synthesis and study of coordination compounds of Cu(II) and Bi(III) with aminopolycarboxylate ions and thiosemicarbazones of 2-formylpyridine and its derivatives
- Malcova Tatiana (Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova, PhD, researcher): The Applicability of decellularized vascular matrix as a bioscaffold in vascular tissue engineering

- Țugulea Cristina (Institute of Zoology of MSU, PhD, researcher Monitoring of lepidopteran species (Insecta: Lepidoptera) from the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve "Prutul de Jos" from the Republic of Moldova
- Ulinici Mariana (Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova, PhD, researcher): Neutralizing antibody activity in recovered COVID-19 patients and in SARS-COV-2 vaccinated individuals from the Republic of Moldova
At the end of the meeting, academician Gheorghe Duca congratulated the fellows of the scholarship for their achievements, expressing the certainty that this generous scholarship program has not only provided them with a unique research experience, but also challenges, and possibilities to achieve new results in their research field and the confidence that everything is possible.
